About
Architect, builder, and the person who keeps it running.
I started in IT support in 2016 and grew through presales, project coordination and operations into leading software development. Since 2022 I've led several teams at once — developers, business analysts, QA engineers, project managers, associates and more than 80 interns — for clients from Canada to New Zealand, while staying hands-on with code, pull requests, deployments and server configuration.
My strongest stack is Laravel, alongside the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) and TypeScript. I've built ERP and membership platforms, payment and POS integrations, a commercial desktop Git client with an LLM-powered assistant, and the infrastructure underneath them. I like owning a system end to end: understanding the business, designing the data model, building it, testing it and shipping it.

A full ERP running the business end to end: warehouse, production, purchasing, sales, point of sale, finance, and an investment and commission platform.
- Finance module that auto-posts ledgers and journals, with AR/AP reporting and accounting period locks.
- POS with barcode scanning and ESC/POS thermal printing, API-key-secured REST integrations with external retail POS partners, and a WordPress/WooCommerce plugin connecting the e-commerce store to the ERP.
- Queued and scheduled jobs for commissions, e-mails and data pushes; business rules covered by a PHPUnit suite.

- POS and payments: sales, cash/card/voucher tenders and refunds at the counter.
- Inventory and warehouse with bin-level stock, transfers between locations and stock counts, kept in step with sales and purchasing.
- Purchasing with purchase orders, goods receipt and supplier pricing, plus multi-location accounts with role-based permissions.

- Commit graph, per-hunk staging, stash, merge/rebase with conflict resolution, merge requests, pipelines, SFTP deployment and an integrated terminal.
- AI assistant that streams chat from any OpenAI-compatible model — hosted or local — with skill presets and repository context (branch, commits, staged diff, CI config).
- Release pipeline on GitHub Actions with code signing and signed auto-updates.

A health and welfare information platform for plantation communities, covering people, households, facilities and the estate hierarchy.
- Designed the full architecture and led the team: role-based access, two-factor authentication and API tokens.
- GIS boundary selector on Google Maps for mapping regional, estate and division areas.
- Chat assistant that answers statistics from the database and open questions through the Gemini API.

- Node.js/Express API, admin portal and web app on MySQL, with Stripe subscriptions, per-module plans and webhooks.
- JWT sessions, two-factor authentication, Google sign-in and login alerts; Expo push reminders, weekly summaries, receipt uploads and scheduled cloud backup and restore.
- Led the rebrand from Chat Tax to TaxKit and the upgrade to Expo SDK 57 / React Native 0.86.

- Privacy by design: sensitive data sits in an encrypted SQLCipher vault kept apart from sync and analytics code, with requirements traced to UK GDPR, Sri Lanka's PDPA and Australian, NZ and Canadian privacy law.
- A written SRS with traceable requirements and 100+ automated logic and UI test files.
